Size 43 (EU) Bottega Veneta's take on the moccasin boot, in muted sage leather with a broad apron toe and thick white sole. Raised stitching follows the front of the shoe, while rope laces, a tall tongue and contrasting heel loops give the upper a slightly utilitarian feel. The proportions are the interesting part: a familiar Wallabee shape made wider and heavier, with clean leather in place of the usual soft suede. The pale sole keeps the whole shoe looking light despite its volume.
