Right of withdrawal
A consumer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day on which the buyer, or a third party indicated by the buyer other than the carrier, takes possession of the item.
Where a single order contains multiple items delivered separately, the withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day the buyer, or a third party indicated by the buyer, takes possession of the last item.
Right of withdrawal for used items
Archive Room sells used and/or consigned items. Each item's description and/or photographs state information about its condition, wear, visible defects and other material characteristics, to the extent this information is known to the seller.
The buyer may only examine the received item to the extent that would be possible in a physical store, in order to establish the item's nature, characteristics and function.
The buyer is liable for any diminished value of the item resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and function.
When returned, the item must be in the same condition in which it was received, taking into account the used condition stated in its description.
How to exercise the right of withdrawal
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the buyer must, before the withdrawal period expires, send a clear statement of their decision to withdraw from the contract to:

Returning an item
The buyer must send back or hand over the item to SIA Archive Room without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which the buyer notified Archive Room of their withdrawal from the contract.

The buyer bears the direct cost of returning the item, unless Archive Room has agreed to cover this cost or applicable law provides otherwise.
Refunds
If the buyer exercises the right of withdrawal, Archive Room will refund all payments received from the buyer, including standard delivery costs where applicable, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day Archive Room is notified of the buyer's decision to withdraw from the contract.
Archive Room may withhold the refund until the item has been received back, or until the buyer has supplied proof of having sent the item back, whichever is earlier.
Refunds are made using the same payment method the buyer used for the original transaction, unless the buyer has expressly agreed to a different method.
Condition of the item on return
The item should be returned, as far as possible, in its original packaging, with any labels, accessories and documents that were included.
As Archive Room sells used items, the item must be returned in the same condition in which it was received, save for handling necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and function.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal may not apply in cases provided for by law — for example, where an item is made to the buyer's specifications or is clearly personalised, where an item is not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once its packaging has been opened, or in other cases provided for by applicable law.
Where a restriction on the right of withdrawal applies to a specific item, this is stated in the item's description or at checkout.
Damaged or non-conforming items
If the item you received is damaged, does not match your order, or does not conform to the contract, please contact Archive Room as soon as possible at info@archiveroom.online, including your order number, a description of the issue and, if possible, photographs.
Defects, wear, visual characteristics or other shortcomings that were clearly stated in the item's description, visible in photographs, or otherwise disclosed to the buyer before purchase, are not considered non-conformity with the contract.
