Size 36 (EU) Rick Owens Cantilever mules in black leather, with broad twisted straps across the toes and instep. The softly folded upper sits above a squared-off sole, while the sculpted support underneath leaves the heel looking suspended when viewed from the side. The contrast between those cushioned leather knots and the rigid, angular base gives the shoes their character. They have the presence of a much heavier platform, but the open space beneath the foot makes the construction feel unexpectedly light.
